About SubsidizedHousing.org
SubsidizedHousing.org exists to make America's fragmented affordable-housing information searchable. Government data about subsidized buildings is published but practically unusable for the families who need it — scattered across spreadsheets, coded by program jargon, and invisible to normal search.
What we do
We consolidate HUD's Picture of Subsidized Households, the LIHTC database, Fair Market Rent schedules, and housing-agency records into clean, human-readable profiles: 81,262 properties across 5,615 cities.
How we're funded
Clearly labeled advertising (like renters-insurance partners) covers hosting. We never charge renters, sell leads, or accept payment for placement in our data. Listings reflect government records, not sponsors.
Editorial standards
- Every figure traces to a named public dataset, versioned on our methodology page.
